I have a BFA in ceramics, painting and printmaking. I studied at the Cleveland Institute of Art, The University of Illinois in Champaign and the LaCoste School of Art in France. I was artist-in-residence, instructor and head of the vessel fabrication department at the historic Pewabic Pottery in Detroit. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eI work with a high fire white stoneware clay and work mostly on the potters wheel these days. I fire in an electric kiln to cone 10 as well as a high fire reduction kiln. I often glaze fire several times to get a painterly, unique and complicated surface on the ware.
