12 Days of Christmas Ornament Collection
Inspired by the iconic Christmas tune, these Twelve Days of Christmas collectible ornaments were first introduced in 2005. The ornaments were released in sets of three days for four years. Sculpted by Pewabic designer Dave McGee the collection was completed in 2008.
Historically, the traditional days mentioned are the twelve days starting Christmas Day. It possibly began as a Twelfth Night “memories-and-forfeits” game, in which verses were recited until a mistake was made.
