After graduating with her BFA in Ceramics from the College for Creative Studies, Joy Kin joined the Pewabic team where she worked in both the education department and as a creative and prolific wheel thrower in the fabrication studio. Joy now focuses on her own ceramics practice.
Joy’s passion for experimenting with firing techniques drives her to constantly strive to improve their process. For her, true magic is found in the process of handcrafting functional pieces and embracing the variation that comes with this approach.
